Michigan's Natural Resources
Water is necessary for life on earth to continue! Your body is made up of more than 60% water. Not only do humans drink water, we also use it for many every day activities. Humans also use water for fun. We swim in water during the summer and sled on the snow during the winter.
Water is also used to keep plants growing. Without plants, we would not have food to eat. Water is used in fire extinguishers to stop fires and keep people and their homes safe.

Michigan has all sorts of water in the forms of lakes, streams, rivers, ponds and creeks.
